United States: Kamala Harris has a town hall meeting with undecided voters on CNN on Wednesday evening while Trump declines a second debate against the Democratic nominee.
Trump Skips Debate for Rally in Georgia
Trump and his guests will be Tucker Carlson a far-right television host and writer and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. an environmental attorney and son of former attorney general will join Trump in attending a rally in Duluth Georgia on Wednesday as the race for the presidency is at under two weeks.
It means that Pennsylvania and Georgia are among the seven states that will determine the winner of the presidency, as reported by Reuters.
The two candidates will probably spend most of the rest of their campaigns in those states, seeking to convince the few remaining voteless voters to go for them on November 5.
For instance, Harris attempted but was unable to persuade Trump regarding the second presidential debate on CNN since she was deemed to have emerged as a victor in the first & only one-on-one debate in September between the duo on ABC News.
Her televised town hall will be in front of a live audience of undecided voters from the swing state of Pennsylvania’s Delaware County just outside Philadelphia.
Polling Shows Tight Race
Harris had 46% of the vote, with the former president receiving only 43%, according to a recent polling conducted by Reuters/Ipsos.
Harris’ lead in the six-day poll, which ended on Monday, was only slightly higher than the 45% to 42% advantage she held over Trump in a Reuters/Ipsos poll that concluded last Monday.
Campaigns in Full Swing
Both Trump and Harris surrogates are already on the ground campaigning across the United States this week. Harris will campaign with Obama in Wisconsin on Tuesday, while her running mate, Tim Walz, will visit North Carolina and Pennsylvania, as reported by Reuters. Trump’s choice, JD Vance, has travel plans on Wednesday to Reno, Nevad
